Pickup and Dropoff
Drop off and pick up for kindergartners is on the upper campus. Parents drive in the left hand lane closest to the enclosed playground where the students are greeted by staff. After school parents use the same lane to pick up their students who will be seated on benches, with supervision.
Extended Care
Extended Care is available from 7:00am-6:00pm. In Extended Care, students are given an opportunity to complete homework, enjoy a light snack and play with other students during this time. (Extended Care isn’t available for our half day kindergarteners).
Kindergarten Playground
Imaginative play is at best on our Kindergarten playground! Students engage in a variety of different activities and play well together with their class during recess and lunch (for our full time students).
Chapel
Kindergarteners attend a weekly chapel service where they recite pledges, pray, worship through song and dance, and learn from a chapel speaker.
Physical Education
Kindergarteners gain an introduction of basic sports concepts to help them grow as they start taking part in sports outside of school. Examples are Soccer, Hockey, Baseball, Volleyball, and Basketball.
Library
Students look forward to their designated library time where they truly develop develop a love for reading through a variety of fun and engaging activities.
Mr. Science
Our Kindergarteners look forward to their visit from Mr. Science each month. They learn a variety of scientific concepts in an interactive, hands-on lesson.
Music Class
Students learn basic rhythmic skills using a variety or rhythmic instruments; basic music notation and theory, learn about music from around the world including famous composers.
