MY JOY
I love getting together with my family and all of our kids. It’s so fun to watch the cousins all grow up together. I especially love vacationing at our family’s Idaho home.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT FRIENDS
I love our preschool staff. We work so well together as a team and everyone is so willing to help each other out. I feel that same amount of support from the admin treat here at Friends and am honored to be a part of this community.

FAVORITE FRIENDS TRADITION
The woot woot wagon. Debbie and Lola come around with a cart full of snacks and drinks to help encourage us and lift our spirits. They usually bring instruments and sing and dance…. It’s become such a fun thing for all of us! I think we all really appreciate the gesture and have a good laugh too!
BEST TEACHING MOMENT
That is hard to pinpoint. I have had so many great memories these past few years. I think I find the most reward in the student’s overcoming what may seem like small fears, but fears nonetheless. Something as simple as walking across a balance beam unassisted may seem like a huge hurdle for some of these kids and most of them find the courage to do it before the year ends. I love the small victories that these children achieve everyday…. And their victories are mine as well.

BEST MEMORY AT FRIENDS
Last year a co worker and I had to carry all the backpacks into the classroom on large rolling carts due to covid restrictions and parents not being able to come on campus. The cart was sometimes hard to maneuver. One day we were in a hurry and took the corner a little too fast and all 8 tubs of backpacks fell over, spilling backpacks all over. Todd Perkins was upstairs watching us over the balcony. We were both so embarrassed but we all just started cracking up.
